This is one of the few grandsons of OLD TOM CAT still producing that I know of. Within a few generations he goes back to RED DOG, PLAUDIT, and JACK MCCUE through different horses on both the top and bottom side. This is line breeding at its very best. Going back to the same family tree from very different directions. I believe this is why he consistently sires typy real quarter horse foals out of all kinds of mares. Pedigrees aside he's cowy, quick, good headed, good boned with the best disposition and he passes it on to all his foals. |

As a bonus they have a high percentage of color. Buckskins, palominos and grullas. They rope heads and heels off him every winter. If you have an extra good mare you may be able to talk Todd into a breeding. Once again we should probably apologize for our pictures. But these horses work for a living and if you want glamour shots of fitted horses we're probably not your site. |
