A few years ago we had enough POA daughters of Roy that we needed a POA stallion.  We acquired Gunny at the international sale.  He was bred by Ruth Pecoy of Rockwell City, Iowa.  His top side is pretty much the excellent Santee breeding program of Gene Carr.  Gene & Ruth are pillars of the POA breed and we tip our hats to their decades of breeding these fine ponies.  Gunny is about 53 inches tall, heavy muscled and really built.  You can generally spot his foals because they are easy to get along with and stout enough for a full sized person to ride.
